The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme

Sudbury Pet Dog Training Club are in a position to hold award nights for The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

The scheme is the largest dog training programme in the UK and its aim is to promote responsible dog ownership by teaching dog owners practical dog training skills, which are used in everyday life situations. The scheme also helps to enhance a dog owners relationship with their dog and to make the community aware of the benefits of dog ownership.

A Kennel Club approved examiner attends alongside your trainer.

The Scheme is straightforward and non- competitive and on successful completion of any of the assessments, rosettes and certificates are awarded. The Kennel Club are also notified of your achievement.

The club runs the scheme at the Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels with tests being carried out at least twice each year.

Visit the Kennel Club Good Citizen pages for more information on the scheme.
